Pilates can Make you Run Faster

And so many other things! Whatever sport you are into, Pilates can improve your performance.

Here's why:

The purpose of Pilates is to balance out the body and improve spinal mobility. I don't know one person who has a completely perfect spine without muscle imbalances. However, not enough of us address the spine and our imbalances. Yet, we continue to run long distances, play the sports we love, lift weights, etc with our body in an unbalanced state. Eventually, this will catch up to you - in the form of pain and injury. The longer you wait to address your imbalances, the higher your chances are for injury and the longer it will take to correct.

Always be able to do the things that you love!

I speak to you with passion and from personal experience. Passion for pilates and what it can do for you! The less mobile your spine, the less your body is able to perform/move like you want it to. Maybe you're not into sports but you love playing with your kids or your grandkids. Don't you want to be out there having fun instead of sitting it out because your back hurts all of the time? Pilates can do that for you. It's appropriate for all ages and all fitness levels. It addresses every muscle in the body while focusing on proper alignment. It can rid you of pain.

So what are you waiting for? Give pilates a try!
