I received so much feedback from my last post, How to Keep the Weight Off For Good, that I thought it might help you to see how I measure my food. This quick video lets you follow along as I make my favorite breakfast: Peanut butter yogurt with fruit. I think this is my favorite because it doesn't leave me with that heavy feeling after I eat.. plus it's delicious! I went ahead and included my recipe below, but remember you can alter the measurements to fit your needs. Again, I use myfitnesspal to log my food everyday. If you need help setting your nutrition goals, don't hesitate to ask!
Peanut Butter Yogurt Recipe:
3 tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk
150g Non-fat Greek Yogurt
1 tbsp (16g) Almond Butter (or nut butter of your choice)
**15-20g protein powder (optional - see below)
1 packet Stevia
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
***Doggy assistant also optional, but highly recommended!
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a small bowl and mix with a hand mixer. Add fruit. Enjoy!!
*Add sliced banana or apple, or any fruit that you love*
**I used flavored protein powder to add flavor, but that is optional. Here's my favorite: Dymatize ISO100 Hydrolized Whey Protein Isolate in Birthday Cake**
Going to pick up those ingredients next time I go to Costco!
